Letter of the President

Dear EURAM colleagues and friends,

We are approaching the end of an intense and vibrant calendar year. During the upcoming holidays, we will finally have time to relax and to spend some time with our beloved ones.

With the last newsletter of 2024, I would like to remind you some important deadlines and key important events concerning our Society.

The next onsite Annual Conference will be organized by the School of Economics and Management of the University of Florence (22-25 June 2025). The deadline to submit your paper to the 2025 EURAM Annual Conference is the 14^th of January 2025. There are expectations that the event will be a great success, also because we will celebrate the 25^th Annual Conference of our Society.

As usual, there will be also an onsite Doctoral Colloquium (21-22 June 2025), whose deadline for submission is the 21^th of January 2025. This event represents a great opportunity for PhD students to meet their peers from various countries, and to develop skills and competencies to boost their professional career.

Still in 2025, EURAM will organize the 16^th edition of the EECC at the Bologna Business School (19-21^th of March). This program has been designed to help early career scholars to build a richer professional network, to develop more sophisticated research skills, and to better navigate the academic career.

I am also happy to share some good news about the development of our Society.

The co-editors of our journal (i.e., European Management Review or EMR) accepted to continue for another 3-year period. I personally thank Anna and Michael for their amazing work during the first term and I am sure they will reach higher ends during the second term.
Thanks to David Versailles, EURAM has created a link with a reputed practitioner journal, i.e., the Conversation Europe. I inform you that EURAM members have already published three articles in the journal, and I hope many more will be published in the coming months.
The 7^th of October, Panos Desyllas organized a webinar on Selecting the qualitative method that fits your project, with Niels Noorderhaven, past chair of EURAM, as guest speaker. I strongly suggest all junior scholars to watch the webinar if they want to learn more on how to develop a qualitative study (view it on YouTube).
EURAM has started to celebrate our 25^th anniversary by posting on LinkedIn pictures and stories from past presidents, conference chairs, SIGs and countries, EECC and PhD organizers and attendees. In addition, the EURAM fellows have launched a 25^th Anniversary Special Issue on The Future of Management Education and Research: The role of institutions, whose deadline is the 31^st of January 2025.

The number of our members is 2433 and our followers on social media are close to 17K. To access all benefits available to EURAM members, I remind you to renew your membership.

I hope to meet you next June at the 25^th EURAM Annual Conference and Doctoral Colloquium in Florence.
