Candidates for the Assistant or Associate Professorship must hold a PhD in management or in a related discipline or should be close to completion of their PhD. Potential to publish in top journals should be clearly visible. Preference will be given to candidates with a focus on International Strategy as a research and teaching phenomena from one or more social science disciplinary perspectives. We expect strong skills in research design and methods. We ideally welcome candidacies of colleagues who examine the internal and external dynamics of multinational enterprises. Command of French is not a requirement to apply but successful candidates will be expected to be able to teach in French and English after six years.

The new professor will be a member of the Department of Strategy, Globalization and Society of HEC Lausanne. The department is currently composed by Professors Bonardi, Castañer, Conti, Haack, Palazzo, Petty, Peukert, and Philippe, covering the areas of business and corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, corporate strategy, entrepreneurship, environmental sustainability, globalization, innovation, non-market strategy and social evaluations.
