EURAM SURVEY : ACTIVITIES AND CONFERENCE REARRANGEMENTS DURING COVID 19 PANDEMIC

Dear EURAM member and conference participant,

In May, EURAM conducted a survey on how the Covid-19 pandemic evolves and affects universities and our members, to understand the national, institutional and personal issues affecting participation in the December EURAM conference and expectations toward possible other EURAM activities during this year. We received over 900 responses, thank you for the active participation and helpful ideas!

The survey results can be found through this link:

The EURAM Executive committee and the Dublin conference organisers will utilise the results when preparing for the conference. A task force has been established for devising a contingency plan, and  EURAM SIGs (strategic interest groups) are considering possible virtual activities during the months of June through October, to keep the community active. We may carry out another survey in August, to continue monitoring the situation and decide on the contingency plan.

Thank you for your cooperation and support.

Sincerely,

Thomas Durand, EURAM President
Miia Martinsuo, EURAM Vice President for Membership
Dorota Dobija, EURAM Vice President for Finance and Conferences
