Collective growth in academia:

Unlocking networks and research opportunities for early career scholars

University of Bologna, Bologna Business School, Italy

Wednesday 19 - Friday 21 March 2025

Are you an early career academic looking for sharing your research   and developing collaboration opportunities in a vibrant   environment of peers, senior mentors and the EURAM top   management team?

The European Academy of Management Early Career Community   invites Postdocs, recently appointed Lecturers or Assistant   Professors in management and cognate fields of research to the sixteenth edition of the EURAM Early Career Colloquium (EECC),  March 2025.

The key objective of the colloquium is to offer a platform for early   career management scholars.

This year, we will embrace the power of collective growth by fostering strong academic networks and creating valuable research opportunities for early career scholars. Through collaborative sessions and expert-led coaching, participants will gain insights and connections to advance their careers.

The event is a unique opportunity to gain face-to-face feedback on your research and your career trajectory from experienced scholars who have lived it.

This year’s colloquium promises to be an engaging and fun-filled event! Specific activities include

  1. Dedicated time to discussing and developing your research ideas

  2. One-on-one coaching session on career development from a senior academic

  3. Workshops and seminars dedicated to developing a successful research trajectory

  4. Networking activities for building international relations and exploring possibilities for future collaborations

Bologna Business School (BBS) is an international business school, created by the University of Bologna, the oldest university in the world, to shape a new generation of business leaders, capable of driving international growth and digital transformation, with a view to sustainability. Its academic interdisciplinary and strongly practice-oriented approach offers a unique learning experience in collaboration with Italian “industry champions” especially from the automotive, food and wine, sustainability, automation&robotics and luxury fields.

BBS Multicampus consists of Villa Guastavillani, a stunning 16th-century residence, and the New Campus, a modern area featuring three state-of-the-art buildings designed to the highest sustainability standards, all set within lush greenery. The two entities coexist seamlessly, allowing the past, present, and future to intertwine and thrive together in the heart of Italy, in one of the country’s and Europe’s most leading economic regions.

All participants will have the possibility to submit a revised manuscript to a dedicated EECC track at the EURAM 2025 conference to be held 22-25 June 2025 at the School of Economics and Management of the University of Florence (Italy), and register at a preferential rate.
