Professor Alessandro Zattoni The President of EURAM is joining us as a mentor at EECC 2024 ! Prof. Zattoni, currently a Professor of Corporate Strategy and Corporate Governance at LUISS University in Rome, has an illustrious academic background. He has served as a Professor of Strategy and Governance at Parthenope University of Naples and at Bocconi University in Milan. He will generously share his insights and editorial expertise gained from his role in renowned international journals. Professor Fabian Homberg Professor of HRM and Organisational Behaviour at LUISS University in Rome. With a doctorate from the University of Zurich, his research focuses on public service motivation and incentives in private and public sectors. Before moving to Italy, he held appointments at at Bournemouth University and the University of Southampton, UK. Professor Homberg has an impressive record of publications in esteemed journals, and active participation in international collaborations. He also serves as an associate editor of the Review of Managerial Science and Evidence-based HRM. A member of EURAM's scientific council, he generously mentors both PhD students and early career researchers. | |
Professor Albrecht Fritzsche Full professor at Rabat Business School, Morocco, where he co-ordinates the interdisciplinary research group on innovation and complexity management for sustainable transitions. He is our distinguished mentor with a profound academic background and extensive experience in the manufacturing industry. Holding a doctoral degree in management from Hohenheim University, Stuttgart, and a doctoral degree in philosophy from TU Darmstadt, Prof. Fritzsche brings a unique blend of expertise to our mentorship program. With a rich career, Prof. Fritzsche has served as the acting chair of technology and process management at Ulm University. He is also a full professor at IEDC – Bled School of Management and the faculty at the School of Business, Economics and Society of Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). His scholarly contributions are truly noteworthy and his dedication to research excellence has earned him prestigious accolades, including the Shin Research Excellence Award. Professor Pierre Dussauge Pierre Dussauge, a scholar in strategic management. Holding a Ph.D. from Paris-Dauphine University, he served as a visiting professor at top institutions globally, including the University of Michigan, INSEAD, IESE, INCAE, the Indian School of Business, and Tsinghua University. Prof. Dussauge is an author or a co-author of impactful books like "Les Stratégies d'Alliance," which was acknowledged as the best management book in France! His research, notably on global strategic alliances, is widely published in esteemed journals. Beyond academia, he has shared his expertise with leading global firms like Mars, Fiat, Schneider, EADS, and more. | |
Professor Miguel Pérez-Valls Miguel Pérez-Valls is a Professor at the University of Alméria School of Business and Economics, where he not only earned his PhD but also imparts his wealth of knowledge to eager minds. With a diverse academic background, Prof. Pérez-Valls has also served as a Visiting Professor at the Cardiff University and the University of Surrey. Professor Pérez-Valls is a prolific researcher with a robust publication record in esteemed journals such as Business and Society, Business Strategy and the Environment, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Journal of Business Ethics, Technovation, and European Management Journal. Beyond academia, he has actively contributed to consultancy projects, collaborating with both public and private administrations in areas related to organizational design and strategic planning. Miguel's research interests revolve around understanding how organizational practices in new organizational forms contribute to the development of crucial organizational capabilities, including flexibility, learning, innovation, and green management. | |
Professor Peter McKiernan Peter McKiernan is Professor of Management in the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship at Strathclyde Business School. Also, he is a distinguished professor of management at the Brussels Institute of Governance, VUB, and holds professorships at the University of Malta and the University of Notre Dame, Australia. He is in high demand as a keynote speaker at international conferences and events. Peter’s main research and practice is on how countries, institutions and organisations learn about how their future might unfold and how they might prepare their current policies/strategies to be more resilient and creative. In strategic foresight and strategy, Peter has led projects with countries e.g., Scotland, Singapore; regions e.g., Fife, Grampian, Stirlingshire; cities e.g., Edinburgh, Glasgow; island economies e.g., Shetlands, States of Jersey; and blue-chip organisations around the world e.g., IBM, BP, Philips, Jardine Matheson, Reed-Elsevier, Siemens-GPT, Marks and Spencer. Recently, he led major strategy projects for the Glasgow City Region, the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland, and the Advanced Nuclear Research Centre in Scotland. Peter continues to work internationally and throughout the Middle East. He was the University of Strathclyde’s ‘Executive Academic Leader‘ at the Dubai campus in its formative years. Additionally, he has held many Board positions in the UK private and public sectors e.g., the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS), and chaired those of major public bodies at the request of the Secretary of State e.g., West Lothian FE College. He has authored, edited, or co-authored 10 books, including the bestseller “Sharpbenders” on organisational turnaround, and he has won prizes for his research on organisational leadership, organisational sense-giving, growth strategies in SMEs and top management teams. He has published in the leading academic journals in both Europe and in the USA. The British Academy of Management (BAM) has honoured him with their lifetime achievement award and their top medal for outstanding leadership – the Cooper medal. CEEMAN have honoured him with their Institutional Champion of the Year award. He has been Chairman and President of the BAM, and Vice-President and President of the European Academy of Management (EURAM), where he was a co-founder of i) the Academy; ii) its house journal - the European Management Review; and iii) its Research Leadership programme with the EFMD, which he led for a decade. He is the immediate past Dean of the Fellows College of BAM and the current Dean of the Fellows College of EURAM. He holds Fellowships of BAM and EURAM and of five other academic and professional bodies (CABS, FBAM, FEURAM, FAcSS, FGIA, FGC, FCMI, FRSA). He is a co-founder of the social movement ‘Responsible Research in Business and Management‘, which is helping to transform the impact that this research has on broader society. | |
