Funding opportunities at the European Research Council

This presentation will showcase funding opportunities for scientific research provided by the European Research Council (ERC). The main funding schemes will be presented, with special focus on researchers in the area of Economics, Finance and Management. Participants will learn more about the application and evaluation processes, success rates and other interesting statistics, some tips and advice for writing good proposals, and several examples of successful applicants and their ERC projects.
The presentation will be followed by questions and answers session where additional information will be provided for interested researchers.
Dr. Jerko Markovina is the Scientific Officer at European Research Council Executive Agency, working in the SH1 panel (Economics, Finance and Management). He works mainly on the support for evaluation and selection of ERC funded projects, co-ordination of calls for proposals and follow-up of the implementation of funded projects.
