GT14_00 General Track
In the 21st century environment, university business research has been very effective in highlighting the issues that need to be addressed by management ranging from disruptive technologies; to potential environmental catastrophe; to social inclusion; to ethical business and ultimately to the stainability of free markets and their ability to deliver the social and economic goals that were assumed integral to the liberal capitalist system of the last Century.

GENERAL TRACK 2020 TRACKS
T14_01 - Empowering business transformation – Digital innovations for sustainable changes in organizations and societies
We have been advancing technologies and processes to make our lives better and businesses grow. The fundamental question still remains - with all the evolving innovations and digital transformations, are we really making success in achieving happier societies and sustainable organizations? As it seems that our lives and businesses are getting increasingly unbalanced despite us making huge progress in building increasingly capable technological innovations. To facilitate debate and steer the discourse on the future of business transformation, the proposed track invites researchers and practitioners to share their scientific insights and practical applications to sustainably impact lives and organizations across the globe.

T14_03 - Towards climate resilience: can we “talk the walk” and “walk the talk” over climate change targets?
Among the issues connected with the achieving of UN SDGs, climate change represents a paramount priority, which will definitely shape our daily realities. Both scholars and practitioners have shifted their mind-set, putting a great deal of effort into the establishment of effective practices to account and report for climate change. However, possible concerns over the decoupling between reporting and practices can seriously jeopardize climate resilience. The track aims at collecting both conceptual and empirical works which contribute: i) to foster an integrated manner in pursuing climate change targets; ii) to identify appropriate tools and procedures for managing climate action.

Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure,
Goal 13: Climate action
