Dublin Airport
Dublin Airport is located 12 km north of Dublin city centre and is just 30 minutes from Trinity College Dublin. The Airport is one of Europe’s busiest airports with more than 60 airlines flying from 179 destinations. Most major airlines fly to Dublin and so no specific arrangements have been made with travel agencies for flights.
Public Transport from Dublin Airport
Bus
There are no rail links from Dublin Airport to the city centre but there are a number of excellent and inexpensive bus services.
The Airlink 757 airport shuttle bus stops at Pearse Street, which is only a few minutes-walk from Trinity Business School. In traffic this journey can take 50 minutes. The service runs every 15 minutes during the day and every 25 minutes at night.

Aircoach operates from both Terminals at Dublin Airport and stops directly outside Trinity College Dublin on Grafton Street. Estimated journey time is between 30 – 45 minutes. Aircoach is easily recognised by their bright blue branding. Tickets can be purchased at the airport on online. The services runs every 15 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes at night.

Public Transport
Dublin Bus offers many routes throughout out Dublin, including two budget alternatives from the airport, the 16 to Ballinteer and 41 to Lower Abbey Street. Please note that the journey times will take a little longer and that cannot accommodate a large amount of luggage. The Bus Stops are at Terminal 1.

Travel Pass

Taxi and car hire services are available from the airport. A taxi from Dublin Airport to Trinity College Dublin will take just 30 minutes. The average taxi fare is €35.00.
Dublin Ferry Port
While the majority of visitors will travel by air, it is also possible to visit the island of Ireland by Ferry. Passengers arriving in Dublin have a choice of two disembarkation points, depending on which ferry company you use. Dublin Port is centrally located, only minutes from Dublin City Centre. Dun Laoghaire is situated to the south of the city, about 30 minutes from the city centre. There are excellent ferry connections daily from the UK and mainland Europe.
