We, management scholars, may have put too much emphasis on research about competition and top down processes and not enough emphasis on cooperation. Our theme, “Manageable Cooperation?”, invites to debate about the new modes of production together with the new ways of value creation and distribution that are emerging and growing, as well as on how old systems are transformed with new demands for cooperation at the political and productive macro, meso and micro levels. |

A symposium is a 90 minutes session around a specific topic or problem that engages a group of panellists and encourages presentation of alternatives view as well as a lively discussion with the audience. Around the theme of our Conference, “Manageable Cooperation?”, we invite you to participate in the symposia sponsored by EURAM SIGs. Please, explore them; discover the issues they tackle, you may even contact the corresponding proponent before the conference in order to choose those debates that you wish to join. Development Working Groups (DWG)Dear EURAM members and friends, Join us in Paris on the 1, 2, 3 and 4 June for the 2016 EURAM Conference and on the 31 May for our Thematic Workshops! DWGs are opportunities to experiment with new session formats and ideas that might not fit easily within the confines of the regular conference program. Sessions will last from 1:30 to 3 hours. Some examples may be roundtable discussions, brainstorming sessions, methodological workshops, and technology demonstrations. Around the theme of our Conference, “Manageable Cooperation?”, we invite you to participate in the DWGs sponsored by EURAM SIGs.
